Protein Intake for DEL or AS-MS Screening

Thank you for your interest in providing protein to SGC for ligand screening to help us achieve the aims of Target 2035.

The purpose of this Intake Form is to help us ascertain whether your protein may be suitable for screening in one of our research programs. SGC will attempt to review your submitted Intake Form and respond to you within 7 days. If SGC determines based on your Intake Form that your protein may be suitable for screening, we may invite you to submit a Full Submission Form with additional information and data relating to your protein.

While no obligations arise from submitting this Intake Form, when submitting a Full Submission Form you will be asked to agree to SGC's click-wrap protein submission terms and conditions, which you can review here.

Please note essential requirements before submission.

For DEL: 0.5-2 mg of >90% pure soluble protein (no aggregation). At least one affinity tag but only one immobilisation tag. Suitable tags include His, flag, biotin, GST (Strep tag is not suitable). Protein buffer requirements for protein stability discussed at initial meeting for compatibility.

For AS-MS: 60 nmol of >90% pure soluble protein with His tag only at present (no aggregation). Protein buffer requirements for protein stability discussed at initial meeting for compatibility.

If your protein is accepted, you will be required to prepare quality control data to submit the full registration. This will include:
initial purification*
gel filtration profile after 2 hours incubation at room temperature*
stability after freeze/thaw cycles*
mass spec ID verification if available in your lab

* currently mandatory to register full submission
